The most anticipated Korean drama “Shakespeare In Love” is based on the hit movie of the same name, and it tells the story of a love affair between Shakespeare and a noblewoman Viola de Lesseps.
Exciting! The drama is starring some of Korea’s top actors and actresses they include Kim Yoo Jung, Chae Soo Bin, Jung Moon Sung, Lee Sang Yi, Kim Sung Cheol, Jung So Min, Song Young Kyu, and Im Chul Hyung. Wawu! Seeing the geourgeous faces on the poster, it sure will be a tearjerker you won’t want to miss.
“Shakespeare In Love” is based on the classic play which is set in the early 1998, and it unfolds the story of William Shakespeare when he starts his journey as a writer and his love encounter with a lady called Viola, the daughter of an aristocrat who disguises as a man to attend a theatre audition. The love bonds between Shakespeare and Viola remains a secret because it is forbidden for a man and a woman to have a romantic relationship and, it is also forbidden for a woman to become a theatre actress at the time.
Well, we are excited to see how their love story plays out on screen and judging by the thriller, it’s going to be a drama full of passion, betrayal, revenge, dilemma, and redemption.
“Shakespeare In Love” will be filming at C J Towol theatre Seoul Art Centre from January 28 till March 26 2023.
