Wow😮…Kimchi is beautiful, yummy, nutritional etc… Follow up and let’s go deep into KimChi.

KimChi is a traditional side dish which comprises fermented vegetables. Yes I must put the word fermented !!, Addition of salt, seasoned vegetable like garlic, chili powder, onions, scallions, ginger etc… KimChi itself is being recognised by the UNESCO as part of Korean’s cultural heritage. Wow!!

You actually need to try out KimChi as it is not only yummy, but also has a lot of health benefits, and it is highly nutritional.

BENEFITS OF KIMCHI YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT

Well, I won’t write much on that, but here are the benefits of KimChi you need to know about:

1. It Is Delicious: Kimchi gives you the pleasing sour taste which makes it more enjoyable… Also, SPICY!

2. KimChi treats fever, diarrhea, constipation, skin conditions, cold, cancer etc..

3. KimChi slows Ageing.

4. KimChi contains few calories and low fat content.

5. It is highly nutritional: it contains vitamin B, vitamin K, iron etc…

DIFFERENT TYPES OF KIMCHI

1. BAECHU KIMCHI.

Baechu KimChi is a popular traditional dish made with Napa Cabbage. Ingredients: onions, cabbage, shrimp, oyster, pepper flakes, ginger, garlic, fish, Asian chives. Baechu kimchi is best eaten fresh.

2. GAT KIMCHI.

Gat kimchi is made from green mustard leaf, it is usually mixed with anchovy sauce, red pepper, garlic, onions, ginger. Gat kimchi is best served with meat and stew.

3. SRIRACHA KIMCHI.

Sriracha kimchi is made with sriracha chili pepper🌶️, sriracha kimchi is a spicy kimchi (not all Kimchi are spicy) . Ingredients: Napa Cabbage, salt, garlic, vinegar, sugar, sriracha, scallions, carrots. Sriracha is best taken with noodles and fried rice.

4. DONGCHIMI (RADDISH WATER KIMCHI).

This is a different type of kimchi usually prepared in early winters. Ingredients: radish, salt, sugar, onions, chilly, garlic, red apple, ginger, pepper. You can take dongchimi kimchi with boiled potatoes and porriage.

5. PA KIMCHI (Green Onion Kimchi)

This is another type of kimchi, usually thin and long. Unlike every other kimchi that I’ve previously mentioned, this does not need garlic, ginger, radish etc .. you only need: green onions, fish sauce, rice flour, sugar, pepper flakes. Pa kimchi is best served and eaten with warm rice.
