KakaoTV’s upcoming drama “Aquaman” is based on a popular Webtoon with the same name as the TV, Kakao Webtoon. It’s all about a campus 9 years long friendship involving three young people Shin Na Ru, Choi So Ra, and Ji Sung Joon.
Ji Sung Joon has been close friend with Shin Na Ru and Choi Su Ra for nine years since highschool, he has a cold personality on the outside but he is a warmhearted person, he’s always going on dates because of his charming and handsome looks and also possess a great social skill. But Ji Sung Joon values his friendship with Shin Na Ru, he gets so sensitive when it comes to his long time friend.
Shin Na Ru on the other hands is a genius and a rising star in the art world, he is recognised as one of the youngest artists represent Korea. Shin Na Ru has a gentle appearance yet gives a sharp vibes around new people.
Chi So Ra is also a close friend to Shin Na Ru and Ji Sung Joon , she is a type of person that considers loyalty and friendship to be very important as she is also in the same department with Shin Na Ru.
Yoo so mi is a 20 years old college student, she is certain about her likes and dislikes, she is a goal getter. She falls in love with Shin Na Ru at first sight.

“Aquaman” will premiere this summer with 12 episodes.
