“Dr Lawyer is a heart-warming drama about a genius double certified doctor with specialities in both general surgeon and cardiothoracic surgeon ( Han Yi Yan), who looses everything, including his medical license from a fabricated surgery. Four years later, Han Yi Yan became a lawyer who specialises in a medical litigation, he works with a public prosecutor from a medical crimes department. Mean while, the prosecutor who also loses her only family and loved ones through the surgery. Together, they punished those who believe that the importance of a person’s life can be ranked based on their wealth and power and also, to comfort the victims who have been wronged.
The director of the drama is director Jang Hong Chul and scriptwriter Lee Yong Suk, alongside with the actors So Ji Sub, Im Soo Hyang, Shin sung Rok, and others.
So Ji Sub will take on the role of Han Yi Yan, a medical malpractice lawyer who used to be a genius double certified doctor, he was a popular doctor in Bansuk university hospital. He chases down the truth of the mysterious incident that leads to the change in his career.
Shin Sung Rok will take the role of Jayden Lee, the head of Asian branch of honours who works in a company specialising in lobbying and investment. He has the power and authority to control everything with his words and actions, he does whatever he can to achieve success.
Im Soo Hyang will take on the role of the prosecutor geum Seo young of the Seoul central district prosecutor in medical crimes department. She belief that criminals are rehabilitated not through forgiveness and leniency but through punishment and also gets justice for the innocence.
Lee Kyung young, Lee Joo Bin, and others all presented a great chemistry, the production team also made detailed effort to produce a high quality product.
